plugin issue on Windows

Hi there (Hi Vince, if that's you !)

I can't use Inspector Pro 7.1 (hosted) with my Windows 10 machine (FMP 19.1.3), because it requires the plug-in.

First, as it just asked to "install it manually", I put it in the default folder (that opens when you hit "reveal folder" in FMP prefs).
On Windows, that is C:\Users\[userName]\AppData\Local\FileMaker\FileMaker Pro\19.0\Extensions.
Then Inspector opens without complaining about the missing plug-in.

But when I try to import a DDR, it now says the plug-in should be located in C:\Program Files\FileMaker\FileMaker Pro 19\Extensions
And putting it there doesn't help, Inspector still shows the same alert.

I tried putting it in both locations (thinking maybe the 'Program Files' alert was a simple "File exists" control, but it still needs the one in the regular folder), to no avail.

FWIW, the plug-in does show up (enabled) in Preferences, but when highlighted, says "This plug-in comes with Inspector Version 6.0" (if that's of any importance)

Thanks
Laurent

Never mind, I missed the 'InspectorSupport' directory... It works now.

Actually, since we hosted Inspector for our whole team, I just started using it without taking a look at the ReadMe file (reason I overlooked the directory).

Sorry about this, feel free to close or even delete this thread, although it may help other 'hasty' users, like me 

The plan moving forward would be to get rid of that folder... glad you sorted it out.

Thanks for your quick answer, both of you.
(you're not in CA right now, are you ? Or don't you ever sleep ? ;°) )

let me me take the opportunity to ask a quick unrelated question :
is this support platform a good place to make suggestions / send in ideas ?
    or is there another ?

Please send feedback to [email blocked] (That way we can track it and share it with the rest of the InspectorPro development team).

Look forward to hearing from you.
